A tattoo studio for both those who want tattoos – and those who don’t.
Upstairs, you’ll find a traditional tattoo studio for those of you ready to get inked.
Downstairs, we invite you to explore something different: an unconventional exhibition showcasing tattoo motifs, created for those who are curious but may not want a tattoo themselves. The exhibition is free of charge.
No matter your reason for visiting, you are warmly welcome.
About Staffan ArtTattoo
What I enjoy most is helping those of you who may have an idea or a feeling, but aren’t quite sure how to translate it onto paper. I listen, ask questions, and get a sense of what you like. Together, we develop a motif that truly suits you. From there, I create a unique design based on your wishes, so you end up with a tattoo that genuinely feels right.
Whether you have a clear idea or just a rough concept, you are always warmly welcome to visit the studio. We brainstorm, sketch, and create something personal together.
Welcome — I look forward to helping you bring your tattoo to life.

A Logo With a Smile
I remember the day I drew this logo. It was the very first day I opened my studio, and I was incredibly nervous. How was this going to turn out?
“Just draw something that makes you happy,” I told myself. And that’s how the logo was born.
To me, it simply means: now, let’s have some fucking fun.
The strange thing is, it still makes me happy every time I see it. That you can feel joy from something you created yourself — that’s kind of amazing, isn’t it?
Hygiene
All inks are approved and poured into individual, disposable ink caps. Needles, grips, and ink caps are discarded immediately after each session.
Your safety and comfort are our highest priority — you can feel 100% safe in our studio.
Aftercare for Your New Tattoo
Congratulations on your new tattoo! To ensure proper healing and to preserve the colors and details, it’s important to take good care of it. Luckily, it’s easy — just follow the instructions below.
The First 24 Hours
Your tattoo has been cleaned, moisturized, and covered with protective plastic. Keep the plastic on for 24 hours.
It may feel warm or sweaty underneath, but the plastic protects the tattoo while it is still an open wound.
Cleaning
When you remove the plastic:
- Gently rinse the tattoo with running water
- Avoid scrubbing — let the water do the work
Moisturizing
Apply ointment 3–4 times a day throughout the entire healing process. We recommend Bepanthen Ointment, available at pharmacies.
A good rule of thumb: You can’t moisturize too much — only too little.
Keeping the tattoo soft and hydrated reduces the risk of scabbing pulling out color.
The Healing Process
- Healing usually takes about 2 weeks, but may vary depending on skin type, size, and placement
- The tattoo may look flaky, dry, or “ugly” during healing — this is completely normal
- Let scabs fall off naturally
- Do not pick or scratch, as this can cause color loss and slow healing
Sun Exposure
- Avoid sun exposure completely during healing
- Once healed: always use sunscreen with high SPF
Showering & Bathing
- Showering is fine, but avoid soap and shampoo directly on the tattoo
- Avoid baths, swimming, and saunas during healing (risk of bacteria)
Exercise
Light exercise and sweating are okay, but avoid:
- Contact sports
- Activities with risk of impact, friction, or falling
Other Important Tips
- Avoid letting others touch your tattoo until it has healed
- Do not touch it yourself with unwashed hands
- Keep pets away from the tattoo
- If doing dirty or dusty work, protect the tattoo with plastic wrap (remove it afterward)
- If you’re worried about the tattoo sticking to bed sheets after moisturizing, you may sleep with plastic wrap on (remove it when you wake up)
If you have any questions or concerns during the healing process, you are always welcome to call or visit the studio.
